The Queen's Dream by IngoSchobert The Queen's Dream by IngoSchobert
This is one of the hamlets that have been built in the Gardens of the Versailles Castle, Paris, for Queen Marie Antoinette. She was the wife of Luis XVI, the king who was executed during the French Revolution.

If interested, read up on her, she was later executed as well, a sad ending to a strange life!

OMG This is amazing. The way you have captured the house and trees is stunning. The contrast of the pink and white really highlights both colours, causing them to stand out vividly. The frost and light pink really gives this photo a beautiful and innocent feeling.

The only thing I would say is that the border is too dark for this photo, the balck doesn't really work with the light pastel colours of the sky, trees and house.

This photograph is stunning congragulations on capturing such a beautiful shot, you hould be proud.

Again this is amazing shot 5/5 stars. Well done.

Thank you, got some more works of different buildings in this garden, but they sure don't seem to be all that "desirable" (aka faved)

I have to say I wouldn't have recognised at such straight away...a really interesting treatment that links up beautifully with the subject of poor Marie Antoinette

Marvellous colours: they give a feeling of unreality to the whole picture which is very nice, almos ethereal.

I agree, actually all of Versailles is unreal in the first place,

If you haven't already visited it, I'd suggest to you to take a look to the Reggia of Caserta. I actually liked it more than Versailles: Versailles is wonderful and out-of-dimension, while the gardens of Caserta are a more human structure, thought for the pleasure of a walking person, with beautiful scenaries. I spent there a most delightful day.
