Three times is a charm, and this is the third time I show you the Rainbow Falls in Watkins Glen State Park.

Whenever I look at this picture I feel like I am dreaming as I cannot imagine how lucky I have been to had a chance to photograph it like that.

Please see my Waterfall Gallery here [link] for more beautiful shots =D

I simply could not continue my day without rewarding this gorgeous work with a critique!

This is absolutely gorgeous. It's very beautiful, so much so that it gives me chills and almost literally takes my breath away. I just love nature, trees, waterfalls and the like, and this This is a reminder of why I love this beautiful world so much.

Vision: A lot of artists take photos of nature, trees, and such, but never have I seen anything quite like this; this rustic canyon setting, with beautiful, bright green trees, the rugged stone bridge, the beautiful flowing water that gives of a gentle, almost mysterious affect. I have seen all those elements in countless works before, but never all together. This is truly like nothing I have ever seen! This is nature at its best, and for that I commend you! It's even amazing that, even with the bridge, it still feels rustic and natural. I don't know if you're really this talented or if yo just got lucky, but regardless, you have struck on something fantastic and timeless with this photo!

Originality: As previously stated, there are countless nature/tree/water/bridge photos out there, so in that sense, this is lacking in originality. But something about this photo...I don't know what it is. The angle? The setting? I don't know. But what you have done here, is you have taken something that has been done countless times before, and done it like I've rarely seen it done, making it original.

Technique: What really astounds me about this picture is that it's a photo! It's not a photomanipulation or anything like that. How did you ever manage to get such an angle? This is fantastic!

Impact: Absolutely amazing. I have not seen something this beautiful, breathtaking and chilling for a very long time. This makes me feel euphoric, like I just fly away and be in such a happy, peaceful place of nature. I haven't felt this way in a long while. I wish you I could give you ten stars for impact, but sadly, I can only give five.

This is an exquisite picture (and I don't use that word lightly!) with a beautiful composition. So gorgeous I went onto google earth to see if I could go there! (I couldn't, but that's ok cos I have your picture :la:)
There are a lot of nature photos out there, but only a few can capture the spirit and individuality of a place, rather than just snapping a pic, fiddling a bit and plopping it on the PC. You managed to capture a magnificant moment! Yay!
Since the place is obviously very unique it takes a good photographer to freeze that feeling within the picture. You acheived that very well through the off-centre composition, which gives an impression of just reaching the place.
The thing that first caught my attention was the soft-focus water affect, which gives it a supernatural feel. I love the way you focused sharply on the rock and bricks. I The colouring that you brought out (reda and greens) make it look very new and realistic. :iconimhappyplz:
...I really need to say anymore after all that gushing? (I'm worse than the waterfall :lmao: ) The impact is very good, since I'm not usually one for photography. Since you managed to make me sad about not being able to see it speaks volumes about your talent.
In short (too late) very very very very good!!! :iconyaayplz:

Nature has lent you the perfect shot for framing! The bridge mirrors the natural pinch point of the waterfall, the striations in the rocks & the green of the leaves & moss... *sigh*.... Absolutely stunning!!!! I love this :D
