Can You Keep A Secret?
Well, me too, haha! But seriously, how often did you answer to the question if you can keep a secret with "no"? Probably much less often than with "sure" or "of course!" We don't want to appear being not trustworthy, and of course we are curious as well.
But how often do we wish we hadn't heard what was just confessed to us, now we carry the burden of this knowledge with the promise not to share it with anybody else. What have we gotten ourselves into?
And how often do we actually hold on to that secret indefinitely? Aren't we glad when we find out a secret is no longer a secret and we can finally talk about it, even feel a sense of bragging rights because we have been "in the know?"
So I ask you again, can you keep a secret?
Ingo
PS: thanks again for all the nice comments in last week's journal!

I think I would not be able to ignore something I heard, but good for you!

But seriously, the one thing I've learned about secrets is that, "If you don't want everyone to know, don't tell ANYONE!"
