Well, since winter where I am is not really cold I am SOOO ready for it. Maybe the thermometer will start behaving itself in winter. (In the 90s again today. Where is Lady Autumn!?)

Not exactly what I was envisioning. :D
Especially the wet 90, YUCK!!!
If I have to have heat at least make it dry.
How about a slightly misty 65? Sound nice to you??

I don't like winter. One reason being that I hate cold. Another being that in the winter, I have to thaw the water for my chickens EVERY... SINGLE... MORNING. It's a pain. And where I live (Arkansas) we don't get much snow, so mostly everything just looks dead and not winter wonderland like. We have been getting bad ice storms the past 2 years, though, which is really good for pictures but a severe inconvenience.

Too bad, but I agree on ICE storms being awesome for photos, the trees are just beautiful

The winder's rising and setting sun as well as the night moon create the most beautiful colors on the horizon, especially with snow on the ground~! The cold days and nights make my very soul that much warmer~

It depends on the area you are in but yes definately large parts are drought affected, s lot of the same areas are prone to both flooding and bushfire, kind of a cruel irony really. It is mostly our rural areas that suffer this, however most of Australia has some form of water restrictions to help combat the problem.

Never got out shooting autumn to the extend I actually wanted since I had no money to drive to the actually nice areas in Germany so, no; now I have to wait another year for the next autumn.
