how easy is it to like yourself if you dont feel others like you? i know the answer you are meant to write is "you should like yourself and that is the most important thing" or whatever, but is it? that's a pretty solitary lifestyle. when other people like you, and you can see that it is genuine, it becomes a lot easier to like yourself anyway. if you like yourself but no one else likes you, surely that just makes you sort of arrogant? i dunno. maybe im looking at this from the wrong perspective. but i decided to be honest than go for the obvious answer. at the end of the day they are both intrinsically linked.
I never look for a specific answer here, I like to hear what people have to say, and your reply is a wonderful example of what makes sense rather than what was "the" answer supposed to be.
