A bit of a random vote/comment here sorry. But nonetheless; I think that pictures of trees ought to be in colour at all times, or have VERY dramatic lighting if in grayscale~ ^^
This one was a toughie....had to actually think for a minute about which one I liked better. In the end, I chose the B&W one, which is unusual for me. But I think that piece is really stunning. I like the POV. When I look at it, I feel like I'm lying on the forest floor.

Yeah, seems rather tight right now
The perspective comes from two causes:
a) the lens (wide angle)
b) the fact that it is shot up hill, so basically you actually are at the height of the forest floor
